BROCHURE.

Lodi is a small city located in the north of Italy, near to Milan, which is a very famous city. I am going to speak to you about the facilities it has and also about the things you can do in this amazing city.

Lodi has always been a very historical town, as here it took place a very important battle between France(Napoleon) and Italy. Finally, it was won by France and they built a very remarkable monument in the middle of the town. Another peculiarity is the amazing range of green zones that you can find in this town, so enjoyment wouldn´t be a problem here!

Certainly, the most attractive zone to tourists is the old part of the town, obviously situated on the middle of it. Here you can go shopping very easily, as you can find lots of shops in here. There is a wide variety of different kind of shops, from clothes ones to sites where you can find stunning ceramic figures.

As I go to Lodi minimum once a year, I can definitely ensure you that views from high buildings are gorgeous. If the weather is sunny, you can see the alps plenty of snow, so it would a good idea, wouldn´t it?. If you go to Lodi you must also visite the river Ada, where it took place a stage of the already mentioned battle.

There lots of more things you can do here, such as see a football match of an historical team, called Fanfulla(from Lodi) or maybe walking in the riverbank of ada´s river. Also you must eat in the amazing restaurants in Lodi, where they serve italian typical food, such as pasta and pizzas and don´t miss the "focaccia", which it is a delicious mass of bread cooked within oil and cheese, what a tasty food!

So, if you have never been to Lodi, what are you waiting for?

My ability.

One of my best abilities is that I play well some sports, specifically, football and basketball and at the moment I am very proud of it.

I have been playing football since I was five years old. I used to play at Tomares football team until I was twelve or thirteen years old. Nowadays I play basketball in my town´s team, Tomares XXI, which is very well-known throughout aljarafe. I love playing these two sports.

While playing either football or basketball I feel like if I am being in another world or planet. I have very good time playing these two sports and the most important is that I play with my friends.

At the moment, I play basketball for fun and to keep fit but I also play in a competition. Whereas, I only play football with my friends. I do not think I will play these two sports professionally, well it is not my intention.

In conclusion, I want you to know that I am very proud of my abilities and that I have a very good time while playing these two sports, so I hope it will continue like this.

Belenes in Seville

Christmas Holidays

During the  christmas holidays I have been in very different places and I have also been with different people. It has been a very excited holiday and I have had a vey good time with my friends and family.

From the 21th to the 30th of December I have been in Italy with my mother´s family. So I have passed the christmas day in Italy. In the christmas day we all met and we went to a very elegant restaurant. I went to a lot of places in Italy and I had a very good time.

In the new years eve I have been with my other family in the countryside in Huelva, in a town called Valdelarco which is very small. I had a very good time there with my cousins playing football and the 31th at night we had a very big dinner and we celebrated the New year. We had a lot of fun.

In conclusion it has been a very excited christmas and I  have done a lot of different things and I have also been with all of my family that is very good.

Christmas: "Belenes".

Hello everybody, today I am going to talk about a very old tradition in our country, the "belenes". I am going to explain and to let you know the different types of "belenes" that you can find around Spain.

Around Spain you can see different types of "belenes", one of them is the traditional one composed by figures  and this is the one that the people put in their respective houses. The main figures are: The baby Jesus, the virgin Mary and José but there are also a lot of more figures in a belen. Almost all of the families have one belen in their houses at christmas.

The other type of "belen" is the living belen and it is made of humans that wear specific dresses. There are carpenters, peasants, and quite a lot more. It is very nice to go and see living belenes in different types of places. It has been always a very old tradition in our country.

In conclusion, I think that it will be a very good experience for all of you and you will know how we celebrate and decorate houses  in christmas and the traditions that  we have so merry christmas!

SCARY MOVIE

This project consisted on on making or trying to make a scary movie with our classmates. In the few days of making and editing the film I have learnt a lot of new things on how to edit and make a good film, but we also had some specific problems.

During the filming and before of the filming we had some problems, one of them was that at first we could not meet all together but lately we agreed on a day in which we could meet all of us together. We also had some other little problems related with the sound and the quality of the image.

Thanks to this project I have learnt a lot of new different things like how to use a computer program for making films called iMovie. I´ve also learnt new english vocabulary and expressions and how to work well in group because we have always agreed on everything.

In conclusion, I think that with this project I have learnt a lot of new things and how to solve problems too. In my opinion I think that we should do these kind of things frequently.

THANKSGIVING DAY

In this letter I would like to say thanks to three things that I consider very important: my family, to say thanks for being healthy and for having house & food. I think that without these three things I would not how to live a normal life.

Firstly, in my opinion I think that is very important to have a great family and my family and friends have been always very nice and they have helped me in my most difficult situations, so I want to say thanks to them for being always there.

Secondly, I think that the most important one is our health, because without it we would not be alive. I want to say thanks for being me and all of my family and friends healthy at this moment and I hope that this continue like this.

Finally, I think that having a house to live in and food to eat is very important because nowadays a lot of people do not have a house to live in due to the economic crisis and they also have to ask for some food to some different ONG, So I thanksgod that I have these important things.

In conclusion, I want to say thanks agains for having all of these three things, which are very important for me,  and I hope that this continues like this in the future.
